When clubs stand with SHOW-SAFE, they lead by example and help build a culture rooted in respect, safety, and integrity.
Supporting this mission means investing in the future of the sport where every individual can thrive. Lasting change begins at the community level, and clubs have the power to shape that future.
Club Spotlight: Virginia Clubs Step Up!
When Nancy Fisk of the Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia first learned about SHOW-SAFE, she immediately became an individual member to support the mission of creating a safer, more sustainable dog show environment. But she didn’t stop there—Nancy rallied her own club and collaborated with Sandie Friend and the Virginia Kennel Club to organize a joint donation during the First Colony Cluster in June 2025. What Nancy and Sandie have to say:
“When asked about club support for your organization by way of the donation, the vote was a resounding yes by both club boards. We all truly understand the value of what you are doing for our Juniors, our clubs, and for our dog sport in general. We thank you for what you do, and are happy to do our part to help you do it.”
Clubs like the Gloucester and Virginia Kennel Clubs are setting a new standard for leadership and integrity in the sport. We’re grateful to club leaders like Nancy and Sandie that emulate the core values of SHOW-SAFE including collaboration and advocacy—people who don’t just recognize the need for change, but take action to make it happen.
