We join for the dogs. No one should have to leave because of the people.

SHOW–SAFE is a grassroots, community-founded nonprofit providing direct services for victims of abuse and misconduct within the dog show world.
We educate the community on how to recognize signs of risk and foster a safer environment for all stakeholders. We promote enduring sustainability and leadership based on our core values of integrity, respect, safety, advocacy, and collaboration.
We were created by people within the sport who recognized the need for a safer, more supportive, and more sustainable show environment—and took action.
Today, we exist to help every member of our unique community recognize risk, respond to harm, and restore what may have been lost—so that every individual can participate safely and with dignity.
SHOW–SAFE is a nationwide nonprofit working to keep dog sports a place where every person can thrive. Here’s how we help make our sport a place people want to stay:
🛡️ Someone to call, day or night.
Our 24/7 confidential helpline is there for anyone with a safety concern, from individuals to clubs. For survivors, our aftercare support stays with you long after the call.
📚 A sport where harm has fewer places to hide.
Practical, dog-sports-specific education helps juniors, parents, adults, and clubs spot harm early, prevent it, and respond well.
🤝 A culture that respects, connects, and protects.
Through our presence at shows, partnerships, events, and policy work, we help make healthy relationships and best practices the norm, ringside and online.
Together, it adds up to a community rooted in kindness, respect, integrity, and accountability, where everyone can keep showing up for the dogs.
