SHOW–SAFE is a grassroots, community-founded nonprofit providing direct services for victims of abuse and misconduct within the dog show world.
We educate the community on how to recognize signs of risk and foster a safer environment for all stakeholders. We promote enduring sustainability and leadership based on our core values of integrity, respect, safety, advocacy, and collaboration.
We were created by people within the sport who recognized the need for a safer, more supportive, and more sustainable show environment—and took action.
Today, we exist to help every member of our unique community recognize risk, respond to harm, and restore what may have been lost—so that every individual can participate safely and with dignity.
Our Mission
SHOW-SAFE promotes a safe and thriving environment free from abuse and misconduct for all in the dog show community through education, immediate response, aftercare, and leadership development.
Our Vision
SHOW-SAFE envisions an exemplary, sustainable, and ethical, dog exhibition culture that empowers and supports the community within an environment of respect free from abuse and misconduct.
